Vaibhav Deshmukh – Class of 2022

Vaibhav Deshmukh – Class of 2022

I pursued the MS Supply Chain Management at UT Dallas based on my extensive work experience for more than 6 years, as well as my college projects, internships, and of course passion towards supply chain. My first 5+ years tenure was in Mahindra and Mahindra Group where I was placed in campus placement in the Supply Chain department. I got a firsthand experience of handling procurement, planning, operations, project management and simultaneously analyze and improve my work while working on many high priority customer projects. I also got a chance to work for some sustainable energy related projects. Addition to regular buying work, I led the Engineering Change Management digitization project. While leading project management activities, I got a good exposure across all departments, and it also helped in building on networking skills. I am also a recipient of several certifications like Mahindra PPAP certification and Mahindra Six Sigma Yellow belt certificate.

Shrutik Dode – Class of 2020

Shrutik Dode – Class of 2020

When I decided I wanted to pursue my masters I was bombarded with so many options. Choosing the right option was a tremendous challenge since I had been a working professional and had left my student life behind many years ago. I wanted a degree plan which would give me the freedom to choose courses from both technical and business domains and not restrict myself to a specific track. MSc program was a perfect fit for me. Additionally, as MSc is a STEM program, it gave me the option to have hands-on industry experience after completing my degree. The Program has a lot to offer in terms of career fairs, personal guidance from the professors and non-teaching staff, networking opportunities, resume workshops, etc. I have had the privilege of serving as a Teaching Assistant and was honored to receive in-state tuition scholarship. I am indebted to MSc Program at the Jindal School of Management and want to give back to my school by helping prospective students make an informed decision about joining the program. Please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to assist you. I look forward to hearing from you.
