Born into an entrepreneurial family, exposed to her father’s self-made business, Lukeshini stood witness to various challenges faced and tackled through sheer hard work and determination. Imitating similar values in her life, she strove to give her best in every endeavor she pursued. Taking Information Technology during high school, majoring in science because of her interest in computers, and further participating in a 15-day educational trip to the USA with NASA paved a path for Lukeshini to take up electronics and telecommunication engineering during her undergraduate.Email Lukeshini
During her undergraduate career, the curriculum helped nurture Lukeshini’s analytical and problem-solving skills. After undergrad and working in the field of Project Management for 1.5 years, she felt the need for a foundational understanding of management to help streamline her skills and prepare her for a future career. Lukeshini was keen to get a more comprehensive understanding of business fundamentals, and exposure to different kinds of management situations to help prevent and solve problems.
Lukeshini’s drive and curiosity to learn helped her decide to take a leap and pursue a Master’s in Management Science at The University of Texas at Dallas. She embarked on this learning journey in Spring 2021 and has been exploring various tracks ever since. This program has given her the opportunity to choose from a plethora of courses across Naveen Jindal School of Management in areas not limited to Business Analytics, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Accounting. She opted for courses in a variety of fields apart from the core courses like Project management, Digital Consulting, and IT Audit.
Apart from academics, Lukeshini also engages in various on-campus and networking opportunities. Currently, she working full-time as an IT Audit Co-op at Fidelity Investments.
