Coursework
The MS in Management Science notates 15 concentrations; however, the online program does not offer every course available as an online course. For a fully online MS in Management Science degree, you would be limited to courses offered online only.
Guaranteed Availability
In most cases, the online courses will be offered in the semesters listed on the JSOM Online Courses page year after year. However, sometimes, the instructor who teaches a specific online course will be unavailable in a given semester. In those cases, you may have to pick another course if you are selecting an elective. If you are selecting a required course and trying to graduate that semester, please contact the program director to look at options.
Prerecorded Sessions
Online courses may have prerecorded sessions that you can access from anywhere, anytime — including internationally.
Exams
Every course is different, but most courses have timed online exams, and some online courses require that the final exam be taken at a proctored exam center. Our testing center must approve the proctored exam center selected by a student; there are numerous national and international testing locations. For more information on the availability of proctored exams, please visit the Testing Center pages or call 972-883-2460.
Remote testing
Students who find UT Dallas geographically inconvenient may use a testing service of their choice, but it must be approved by the UT Dallas testing center.
