Elective Choices

The Master of Science in Management Science allows students to tailor their 24 semester elective credit hours (8 courses) to their personal preference. This can include picking courses within a particular Area of Focus (such as Accounting, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, etc.) or in any combination they choose.

Joining UT Dallas as an international MBA or non-STEM MS student?

Consider adding a Master’s in Management Science to qualify for 3 years of OPT post-graduation.

  • Earn a combined or dual MS/MS or MS/MBA and receive the benefit of reduced total credit hours required to graduate.
  • The double MS/MS program can be earned with just 55 semester credit hours compared to 72 if earning each independently.
  • The double MS/MBA program can be earned in as little as 63 semester credit hours compared to 89 if earning each independently.
