Student Testimonials

Djidan Gbamnan, Class of 2024

Being in the supply chain industry for the past six years, I have developed considerable problem-solving, time management, and partnership skills. It only made sense to pursue a degree in Supply Chain Management and Analytics at The University of Texas at Dallas. Since joining the University, the program has allowed me to maximize my analytical skills, sharpen my knowledge of business operations, and gain experience in diverse areas of expertise – such as global logistics and integrated supply chain management. Supply Chain is such an essential aspect of how the world operates, and I want to be a part of it.

Vehicle Logistics Intern, Toyota

I chose the Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management program because I wanted to be part of a dynamic and growing field. SCM professionals engage in each aspect of a product or service: interacting with suppliers, planning production, design and distribution of physical goods and impacting sales. UT Dallas offers one of the top undergraduate SCM programs in North America, and I was impressed that it is a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) focused degree plan.

Tram Tavu, Class of 2024

This major offers a promising career with ample opportunities for growth and impact, especially with the great program team here at UT Dallas guiding us students along the way. Coming into my internship, I felt prepared with industry knowledge because of the prior classes I took.

My first semester studying supply chain management was very eye-opening and different compared to my previous STEM-designated (science, technology, engineering and math) degree program. I decided to switch my major because the opportunities were endless in this specific field. What I enjoy the most about my degree is that I can use many of the concepts I learn on real applications.
