OM Student Organizations

The Operations Management area of JSOM is home to multiple vibrant student organizations that allow our students ample ways to get involved. Learn more about each of them below, and when you are ready to join one (or more) of the organizations, review the information in green below.

Association of Supply Chain Management at UTD (ASCM)

ASCM UTD Student Chapter is dedicated to enhancing our members experience outside of the classroom on their journey to supply chain excellence by providing valuable insights through networking opportunities, certification training webinars and workshops with industry professionals, professional development meetings, access to mentorship from industry leaders, and events focused on current supply chain trends and resources.

We at INFORMS UT Dallas promote greater public awareness, interest, and understanding about the benefits of Information technology, operations research, and analytics and provide a variety of events that support lifelong learning and networking for O.R. and analytics professionals.

Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence (WISE)

The purpose of WISE:

  • Promote careers in supply chain management
  • Create an opportunity to build connections for students interested in supply chain
  • Offer different perspectives of female professionals in the industry and from student peers with internship and industry experience
  • Create an environment for discussion about gender diversity in the supply chain industry
WISE events are not exclusive to female students; we welcome male students who support female involvement in the field of supply chain management. We host events at UT Dallas, and we attend the National Symposium and Leadership meetings organized by the WISE Original Chapter.
